If you’ve never been to a Chrism Mass before, plan to attend this year. This is the liturgy where all of the priests of the Archdiocese gather together with the Archbishop in the Cathedral, and renew their priestly promises, as well as witness Archbishop bless and consecrate the new sacred oils for use in baptism, confirmation, and anointing of the sick that will be used in all of the parishes throughout the year. This liturgy is almost always crowded with attendees, so if you plan to come, come very early!
